This article analyzes the initial implementation of the outreach project "Psychological Support
for Atypical Mothers: Listening, Care, and Humanization," linked to UNICIR. The study aims
to examine the strategies for community engagement and the effectiveness of qualified listening
tools from the perspective of interdisciplinarity between Psychology and Nursing. It is a
qualitative action-research study based on participant observation and content analysis of group
dynamics. The interventions (both virtual and in-person) Howe that facilitating supportive
spaces helps break social isolation and reduce the chronic stress associated with atypical
motherhood. It concludes that the university extension program acts as a catalyst for mental
health and the protection of social rights.
